The Joule–Thomson expansion is studied for Reissner–Nordström-Anti-de Sitter black holes with cloud of strings and quintessence, as well its thermodynamics. cosmological constant treated thermodynamic pressure, whose conjugate variable considered the volume. characteristics are in four main aspects case ω=−1 ω=−23, including coefficient, inversion curves, isenthalpic curves ratio between minimum temperature Timin critical Tc. sign coefficient possible determining occurrence heating or cooling. divergent point corresponds to zero Hawking temperature. Unlike van der Waals fluids, curve hole not closed. dividing line cooling regions, above which slope positive occurs, cooling–heating more sensitive Q. Concerning TiminTc, we calculate it separately cases where only strings, quintessence both present.

The description involves two copies of the conformal field theory associated to the AdS spacetime and an initial entangled state.
